Inspiration comes from new places

It's important to me that my future work has a sense of place - it could not have been created from anywhere

Hold on to the small details which make your work yours

I'm learning to find the balance between working with restrictions and diluting my own style

You don't need to call yourself an illustrator

The best way to work is the one that works for you

For me, that can be bouncing between 17 different tasks at once

Being present and trying are the first steps

Being present is often the most scary step too

Be aware of how the industry is changing

What does it mean for me?

It's OK to let go of your work

You can't do everything in a project, and it will turn out better if you don't.
